Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong musty apple with sweet notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Quickly dry with semi-acidic tones. Starts with some semi-sweet apple flavour. Some musty notes from fermentation.
After Taste: Becomes slightly more acidic with more sour notes as sweetness dissipates. Has a tangy finish.
On ice: Thins out the overall taste.
Additional Notes: A standard, classic apple cider, done very well. Think “better then average” in all elements listed below, the 401 Dry Cider has a very full-flavoured, sweet apple taste that has some mustiness and is pretty crisp. A lot of aspects that work very well together, complimenting and contrasting.
