Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium smell. Equal parts sweet cherry and sweet apple aromas.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation and acidity. Creamy dessert apples flavours. Strong maraschino cherry. Rather sweet and intense burst of flavour.
After Taste: Apple reduces. Tart, candied cherry flavour that lingers. Banana notes. Ends quite dry.
On ice: Carbonation is cut a lot. Cuts cherry flavour and ends more on the apple.
Additional Notes: Cherry Bomb delivers on having a strong burst of cherry flavour, but without compromising the apple part of the cider as well. If you prefer the cherry more, drink without ice; but for a stronger apple experience, drink on ice – its like a choose-your-own-adventure ending. This is a very fruit forward, full-bodied cider. Intense colour, intense flavour. Would appeal to most types of cider-drinkers.
