Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium-strong sweet Bosc Pear aroma.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation> Strong and sweet fleshy yellow pear.
After Taste: Becomes sweeter in the aftertaste, almost has a sugary, candied finish (but not granular/gritty). Has a long lingering taste and a quite crisp finish.
On ice: Less carbonation and slightly less tangy.
Additional Notes: A very juicy and sweet pear, the Strongbow Dry Pear is maybe not as dry as the name implies, but it has a lot of flavour. Sugar level make this sweeter than other pear ciders, which makes this easier to drink as a more cocktail then an actual perry. Crisp and is definitely a Strongbow at heart, it is similar to their other product offerings.
