Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Metallic, musty and ferment notes. Subtle blueberry.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from acidity. Coppery-metallic tasting with some aged oak elements. Mild sour notes in the initial taste. Some mulled notes presence from aged and wild-tasting blueberries.
After Taste: Long lingering fermentation process flavours. Becomes more tart but dissipates in taste quickly overall.
On ice: Smoother with less sour notes. Overall flavour slightly reduced.
Additional Notes: Focusing mostly on the blueberry and fermentation process flavours, this unique offering is very earthy – with some dry and sour elements. Not a lot of apple, and not overly long-lasting, a strong metallic and oak presence is obvious from start to finish.
