Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium smell, candied raspberry aroma (like a Swedish Berry)
Initial Taste: Mild bite – mostly from the acidity. Quick tart raspberry flavour. Tangy taste and feel. Some sour apple flavours.
After Taste: Becomes a sweeter raspberry flavour, with a film from the residual sugars remaining in the mouth. Semi-dry finish. Some bitter notes with a lingering tanginess.
On ice: Carbonation is cut almost completely – as well as tartness. Tanginess and sugar-residues remain. Much smoother on ice.
Additional Notes: Scenic Road’s Razz Cider is a full-bodied and flavoured cider. If you want a more sour raspberry cider, drink this neat without ice. If you want a more candied raspberry experience, throw some ice in this. This cider is semi-dry and leaves a sugar film in your mouth but not too sweet overall.
