Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium sweet apple w/ floral and white wine notes
Initial Taste: Mild to medium bite. Sweet and smooth. Strong elderflower flavour with sweet apple notes.
After Taste: Continuing elderflower flavours. Mild astringency. Some fermentation notes. Lingering floral flavours. Semi-dry, white wine finish.
On ice: Carbonation is cut. Ice cuts the flavour slightly. Becomes more astringent on ice.
Additional Notes: Clafeld’s Elderflower is a light cider offering, which has a very natural elderflower flavour that is not too overpowering. Strong wine presence, that has light apple and floral notes. Semi-dry finish. Drink this cider fresh, it is not to be aged as we discovered with an older version we had let sit for a while.
