Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild, semi earthy, caramelized sweet apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Sweet apple with hints and malt-like notes. Strong presence of the peel in the apple flavours, with a slight tang. Caramelized.
After Taste: Apple flavours are more prevalent. Becomes dry and leaves a juicy, malty finish. Has a definite Canadian-apple taste, similar to red delicious apples. Syrupy finish.
On ice: Becomes juicier and more crisp, cleaner on ice.
Additional Notes: The Puddicombe’s Family Tree Cider (Apple) us a caramelized, smooth with some malty elements. It is thick and rich, with some unique apple elements that are not sharp by any means. Has some unique flavours but is cleaner and easier to consume then the 2017 version. Very little sour elements amongst the 12 varieties of apples used.
