Smell: Sweet apple with floral and honey tones. Has hints of sour apples. Crisp, clean and bright.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite and very smooth. Crisp, fleshy-apple flavour. Sweet and slightly musty. Honey undertones.
After Taste: Strong apple finish. Pineapple and floral notes. Some fermentation elements at the end.
On ice: Carbonation bubbles weaken and become smaller. Flavour weakens on ice. Remains a sweet, apple flavour. Cleaner on ice
Additional Notes: Ardiel Dry Cider is a light, easy drinking, crisp cider that would be quite refreshing on a humid day. It has many traditional apple cider elements with unique pineapple-like, floral and honey notes. Has characteristics of an easy to drink white wine – probably due to similar techniques being used at the winery it is made at. Clean and smooth, with lighter ABV at 5.5% and new can in 2023.

You will have to reach out to the makers of Ardiel information for this information. Georgian Hills Winery where it is made, might also be able to help you.
Typically, cans last about a year from production date before the quality declines, but they are usually safe to drink regardless of when it was made.

Looking to decipher an expiry or production day on cans of Ardiel Cider.
Stock in our fridge that I’m not sure what event is from.
