Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong basil aroma with mint notes
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation but smooth. Quick flavours from both basil and mint. Earthy yet sweet.
After Taste: Flavour becomes more floral in essence. Mint flavour lingers long with a subtle apple flavour appearing after the herb notes weaken. Slight tingle of the tongue from the mint.
On ice: Bite is reduced on ice. Little apple flavours, mostly just the herbs.

Additional Notes: This mint and basil herbed cider from Brickworks is nothing short of unique. From the first aroma, it smells like you are walking through a fresh garden. With a strong herb presence, this very daring cider works out well and is quite refreshing. The menthol action from the mint will leave you relaxed and ‘cooled’. It is well-balanced overall – not too earthy or bitter from the herbs, yet also not too sweet from the apples.
