Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild apple and ginger tones
Initial Taste: Flat apple flavour. Very sweet in taste and feel with mild ginger hints.
After Taste: Ginger flavour more prominent but overall, flavour dissipates quickly.
On ice: Carbonation and flavour remain almost the same, but ginger elements are reduced.
Additional Notes: Strongbow Ginger is very similar to mixing a sweet apple juice and ginger ale. The sugar content in the cider impacts the typical ginger sensation and flavour, to make it have less heat and bite than other ginger beverages. Overall, this ginger is much sweeter and less intense than the ginger title may have you believe before consuming it. This cider reminds us of the flavour and sweetness of their counterpart Strongbow Gold but it differs greatly from the original Strongbow British Dry.
