Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Tart, sour, strong apple aroma with hints of granny smith. Essences of barley and beer.
Initial Taste: Sweet, sharp and tangy apple taste, has a beer-ish feel and taste. Very full-bodied.
After Taste: Stays sharp and tangy, with more sour notes introduced with long -lingering flavours
On ice: More fizzy, less sweet than without ice. Gets watered-down easily/quickly.
Additional Notes: You can tell it is beer company that produces this cider and that it is commercially-marketed. It is lighter, easy to drink and good for introducing new people to cider (especially if they are already familiar with the Alexander Keith’s brand).
