Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy apple, some tropical notes. Touch of farmhouse funk.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Semi-strong pulpy apple with a bit of farmhouse funk.  Tropical/star fruit like elements mixed in with a creamy apple. Slight bitterness from hops.
After Taste: Apple becomes more gritty and funky in the aftertaste. Hops come through a little bit in the average length mouthfeel.
On ice: Reduced carbonation and intensity.

Additional Notes: A first cider offering from The Paris Beer Company, this hopped cider is a blend of pulpy apple, farmhouse funk and a semi-sharp hop made with all local ingredients.  Hints of tropical notes, it’s bright and uplifting with a touch of bitterness. Not much honey, but it’s there in the aftertaste that lingers a little while.  More gritty as you go along.
