Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Dried pear. 
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Dry, semi bitter pear notes that are slightly funky with a touch of earthiness – though some brightness too.
After Taste: Becomes a bit more pear-like and clean in the aftertaste where the pear juice becomes more notice.  Average flavour length with some extra grittiness in the final moments.
On ice: Slight reduction in overall taste.

Additional Notes:  Howell Road’s Pear is fermented to almost dry (very little sugar), which you can tell is a natural traditional perry. No artificial flavouring here, it’s slightly funky with a bit of earthiness.  Becomes a little cleaner in the aftertaste where the pear elements are more noticeable, thought has some gritty and dryness in the finish.
