Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet, candied peach.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth, creamy peach with some sweetness. Balanced with a dessert apple that’s upbeat. Mint is earthy and noticeable though not overpowering.
After Taste: Apple reduces and becomes a bit more peach focused – although the peach is also diminished and has some fermentation elements. Some additional peach skin notes which linger a long time.
On ice: Reduced mint and a bit lighter overall.
Additional Notes: The Peach Bellini by Ernest Cider Co is a sweet, candied and easy to drink peach offering that has a smooth and clean dessert apple base. Mint is noticeable and cooling, but is dramatically reduced on-ice. Longer lasting aftertaste with more skin from the peach noticeable. Similar to the Impeachment by Ernest (if not the same rebranded), it’s summer-y and refreshing. Some sour elements from a fresh peach are noticeable. Low-key peach ice tea vibes (but without tea).
