Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet lime. Hints of candied cherry and some dessert apples
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth and semi-tart blend of cherry and lime elements. They are upbeat and sweet. Apple base is there, a touch of tang and clean apple.
After Taste: Most elements dissipate quickly, leaving a candied cherry that lingers for a bit – think red cherry from a stereotypical slushy.
On ice: A little less apple, more candied and juice-like
Additional Notes: Part of the Kinder Cider Series by Blake’s Hard Cider, The Cherry Limeade is a very fruit forward offering. Not a lot of apples, it’s clean and crisp with a sweet and candied balance of cherry and lime. Memories of fruit drinks, it cleans out pretty quick except for a candied cherry aftertaste. Tangy, tart and sweet.
