Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy berry (strawberry, blueberry-like) with some bright sour apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-sharp apples with a berry blend. Apple is upfront and dissipates to leave a dry berry- seems mostly blackberry-focused.
After Taste: Apple reduced finishes with a syrupy berry aftertaste that’s semi-long lasting and a bit earthy. Concord grape-like notes.
On ice: Thinner mouth feel, less tart.
Additional Notes: Shiny’s Bramble Berry is a mix of berries, which we believe is “brambled” types like blackberries and raspberries (no ingredients listed).) It is pretty thick and forward. Apple is sour and upfront, but gives way to berry aftertaste that has a hint of earthy elements. Blackberry-heavy, with some raspberry tartness. Watered-down on ice.
