Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-sweet and slightly spicy ginger, some dessert apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Mix of semi-sweet dessert apples that are balanced with a sweet lime and not overly aggressive ginger (ginger-ale like).
After Taste: Apple reduces, lime present and ginger at the back of the mouth is more noticeable. Cleans out somewhat quickly but a light film.
On ice: Ginger stripped down on-ice
Additional Notes: Shiny’s Ginger Lime drinks like a ginger ale with a fresh lime. Apple is semi-sweet and somewhat apple forward, balanced in flavour with the other two primary flavours. Smells more “spicy” then it is (from the ginger), it cleans out with a little film. Not in your face, but very much a ginger/lime over apple cider. Becomes more ginger based as it warms.
