Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Slightly sour apple with some black tea and tart raspberry
Initial Taste: Light bite. Apple base – including green apple-like notes – and earthy black tea. Tart, muddled raspberries. Some floralness.
After Taste: Apple reduces, becomes a bit more raspberry focused. Raspberries remains tart, a bit jammy. Tea notes linger.
On ice: Carbonation reduced, little other change
Additional Notes: Slabtown Cider Co’s Raspberry Tea Hard Cider is a raspberry-focused experience, with some tea notes. The apple base is mainly upfront – and seems to have some green apple-like notes – its a bit tart. The raspberries are also tart, a bit jammy, and muddled. The tea isn’t too strong but adds some black tea-like notes and tannin.
