Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Light aroma. Dessert apples. Slight sour and wine notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Crisp, smooth and clean apples.  Very apple driven, and juicy.  Not intense but prominent classic apple taste.
After Taste: Actually builds and becomes more apple forward.  Long lingering clean finish.
On ice: Slightly watered down.

Additional Notes:  Sunny Days by Andrews Farm and Winery is an example of a classic apple cider from Ontario. Very clean, crisp and apple forward. It’s sweet but not sugary, a lot of pop but not overpowering.  Aftertaste lingers a long time.  Very juicy – easily mistaken for a soft cider, but its 6.5%. Fruit wine-influenced (is made at a predominant winery.).
