Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy apple and citrus.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Sweet pulpy apple blended with smooth grapefruit. Light and slightly floral from elderflower.
After Taste: Apple dissipates leaving a more traditional grapefruit finish. Some natural grapefruit bitterness is more present but still light as its seemingly offset from the elderflower.
On ice: Thinner and less apple. Stronger grapefruit aftertaste.
Additional Notes: The Brickworks Grapefruit Elderflower is a light offering – it starts off a bit of apple with a blended, sweet grapefruit. As the apple dissipates, more traditional grapefruit elements become present and remain for a long time. Very fresh finish of grapefruit – with little of the traditional bitterness. Elderflower is light but adds a nice floral layer and element.

Government of Canada does not require nutritional information on alcohol unless the can indicates some sort of benefit (i.e., added vitamins).

Disappointing that there are no sites that quote nutritional information for drinks like these. If you know what foods to pair it with, how can you not know the nutritional value of the drink?
