Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet blend of pineapple and key lime. Some dessert apple elements.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Quick hit of semi-sweet and soft dessert apples that turn towards a slightly tangy key lime (typically sweeter than most limes) and a bit of mild pineapple.
After Taste: Apple reduces almost all of the way, pineapple removed and key lime sweetness dropped leaving a tonic finish with hints of lime. Finishes with a slightly longer than average lasting aftertaste with the key lime peel notes holding on that are candied.
On ice: Carbonation reduced, minimal other change.

Additional Notes:  Ernest’s Keylime and Pineapple spritzer is a light take on a zesty flavour combination.  Not a lot of apples (and what there is only shows up at the start), it’s more semi-sweet key lime with elements of pineapple.  Aftertaste is almost all candied lime peel and tonic notes.
