Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Tart raspberry and sweet fruit medley (fruit punch-like).
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Jammy raspberry with a hint of sour peach to start. Slight apple elements.
After Taste: Almost all elements reduce and disappear quickly except for the raspberry, which gets thicker and even more jam-like. Slightly dry/gritty mouth feel.
On ice: Thinner body, less tart, slightly less non-raspberry flavours.
Additional Notes: Break out the toast for this jam-inspired offering from Brickworks Ciderhouse. The Raspberry Peach smells like a fruit cocktail, but really has the almost singular taste of a raspberry jam. A little tart and a slightly thick motuhfeel, it’s got a lot of flavour. Not much apple in this, and somewhat sweet overall.
