Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Very mild, sweet apple smell. Lots of earthy notes.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation, which over-powers some of the flavour. Smooth, minimal, single-variety apple flavour. Musty.
After Taste: Remains smooth on the pallet. Does not linger long. Sweet finish with honey notes detectable. Some acidity and slight musty flavour notes.
On ice: Ice cuts the flavour and carbonation.
Additional Notes: This cider has a very strong presence from the carbonation, which remind us of a club soda in taste and feel. Tawse Sparkling Cider is mild-tasting and could be a substitute to champagne at special events or in cocktails. Musty, unfiltered and very wine influenced.
