Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium, sweet smell. Mix of citra hops and citrus aromas.
Initial Taste: Mild bite. Very smooth. Strong citra-hop like presence. Mature apple flavour.
After Taste: Becomes slightly tangy and malty. Hop flavours and presence lingers. Tropical flavours of pineapple, mango and papaya come out. Semi-dry finish.
On Ice: While the cider looks more carbonated on ice, ice actually decreases the sensation of carbonation and the hops. It reduces the flavour and becomes more flat.
Additional Notes: Hop X is a signature cider from Revel. With a bold presence of a unique type of hops, it creates a juicy tropical fruit flavour but is still extra smooth. We found that ice takes away from the best elements of Hop X so we do not recommend drinking it this way.
