Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild aroma. Fleshy, single-variety sweet apple smells. Floral undertones.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick, tangy sweet apple – with natural carbonation coming through. Strong presence of apple tannin.
After Taste: Some fermentation process becomes prevalent. Flavours from multiple varieties of apples appear. Long lingering taste. Hints of honey flavours. Semi-dry finish that is refreshing.
On ice: Flavour becomes sharper – with apples becoming more prominent than without ice. Reduces the aftertaste length.
Additional Notes: This 100% organic, clean tasting and feeling cider is simple and straightforward – but it is also very complex with a lot of depth. Fermentation notes are quite prevalent, remaining for quite a long time in the mouth. It is semi-dry but does not leave the pallet dry – it is refreshing and is a sophisticated modern take on traditional cider. For more apple flavour and less fermentation, add ice.
