Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild sweet cherry juice aromas
Initial Taste: Sweet head with some bitter and sour notes. Carbonation sensations quickly evident in the mouth. Strong, juicy dark cherry flavours.
After Taste: Sour flavour and sensation amplifies and lingers. Cherry flavour remains on the palate for a while and becomes slightly candied. Notes of honey flavours develop.
On ice: Carbonation bite is cut. Becomes smoother on ice with a lot of the sourness removed.
Additional Notes: Parkside Cherry is an intensely flavourful and refreshing cider – that we wish weren’t a limited release. This 2nd cherry-flavoured Brickworks Cider reminds us of their other limited-release Field Trip Cherry Cider in some ways but both are unique cherry ciders overall. Field Trip Cherry was a more sour and dry cider; while Parkside Cherry is much crisper cider overall – with a stronger cherry-juice presence.
