Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong ginger and sweet desert apples aroma.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from ginger and carbonation. Quickly followed by a strong but sweet fresh ginger and sweet dessert apples flavour. Some initial harshness from the ginger.
After Taste: Tang of the ginger dissipates and becomes a little more candied. Apple flavour becomes more present. Semi-long-lasting but not overly powerful.
On ice: Much smoother, with less carbonation. More commercial ginger-ale like.
Additional Notes: A new take on a flavoured cider, Archibald’s Hard Ginger is clean, fresh and natural. A very authentic ginger that is not overpowering but full of flavour. This cider starts strong and fades quickly, or else it may be tough to finish a whole glass; but if so, adding ice helps a lot.
