Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Effervescent sweet apple.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation. A tangy and crisp apple emerges quickly. Apple base is forward and bright, with some flesh and peel notes. Some tannins and a natural, forward apple sweetness.
After Taste: Becomes a slightly drier apple as carbonation reduces, with more tannins. Long lingering with a bit of film.
On ice: Watered down flavour and carbonation.

Additional Notes:  Thornbury’s Limited Sparkling Apple Cider is familiar tasting if you’ve had Thornbury ciders before, baring a great resemblance to their Original Apple, but with more pop and effervescence. A sweet and very apple forward cider, its bright, tangy and very crisp. You get a lot of apple characteristics in this one, with flesh, peel and maybe even some pulpy notes. The carbonation is forceful but not overwhelming for the senses. Straightforward apple cider flavour from start to finish, it’s a traditional offering with modern influences.
