Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Extra sweet, creamy dessert apples
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-sweet dessert apples present. Tangy with some smooth acidity.
After Taste: Becomes more acidic as time goes on. Long-lingering apple notes with some earthy aspects. Tannins linger in the aftertaste. Gets more sour towards the end. Some creamy banana notes.
On ice: Carbonation cut. Slightly less sweet on ice.

Additional Notes:  The inaugural cider from Niagara Cider Company, their No. 1 Dry Apple Cider, is a very modern, new world cider, that still has enough traditional elements to make it very grounded well-balanced. Very clean and crisp, its quite apple forward and more sour/tannic than expected by the smell. Some banana notes. Very well crafted, it would appeal to a wide base of various cider fans.
