Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong pumpkin and spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom) smells
Initial Taste: Medium bite from the spices. Some bitter notes. Nutmeg and cardamom very noticeable. Some hints of pumpkin.
After Taste: Becomes smoother as spices dimmer on the palate with sweet cinnamon flavours becoming more prominent. Vanilla flavour develops to form a pumpkin pie finish. Long lingering aftertaste that includes some artificial flavour notes.
On ice: Some of the bite from the carbonation is cut, along with some of the spicy flavour. Pumpkin flavours more noticeable than without ice.

Additional Notes: Growers Pumpkin Spice Cider is a heavy and rich drink to consume due to a strong spice presence so we recommend small pours at a time. It is similar in nature to a homemade mulled beverage so it is festive for fall or winter holidays to warm one up. The bottle recommends serving it warmed up, which really heightens the smell profile of the beverage. Heated, the cider becomes more acidic tasting, with less noticeable pumpkin flavour but more apple and cinnamon flavours.
