Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-tart, semi-dry, apple forward.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Quick semi-sweet apple notes. Some fermentation flavours. Slightly earthy and metallic.
After Taste: Medley of apple flavours prevail and linger. Semi-dry finish. Tangy.
On ice: Carbonation is reduced a lot. Slightly less tangy.

Additional Notes: Northern Ontario’s first craft cider brand, Thomson’s Original Craft Cider, features a very unique blend of apple flavours that are tart, sweet and tannic. With a lot carbonation, it is rather champagne like – partially as it has a light flavour profile. Flavour lingers awhile. Defined as being very crisp, tangy and clean.
