Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Semi-strong smell of lemon with honey and mild sweet apples.
Initial Taste: minimal bite, quickly followed by a strong, fresh, zesty lemon juice taste. Medley of apple flavours. Somewhat tart with slight bitter notes.
After Taste: Second round of sweet lemon comes through with strong honey flavours also.  Apple base becomes more prevalent, however it fades in a long lasting lemon, honey, buttery finish in the aftertaste.
On ice: Lemon and overall flavour reduced, becomes thinner in feel.

Additional Notes:  Sea Cider’s Cyser (a cider fermented with honey) with a unique drink, unlike anything else we can recall. With a sweet (not sugary) and zesty lemon flavour, it is incredibly vivid and almost ‘bursts in the mouth’. It is not sour or puckering like one may assume with a lemon-based drink, so don’t expect it to be like a lemonade. With a long-lingering aftertaste, it has a pleasant honey finish. It is slightly thicker than other ciders in consistency from the honey, similar to a mead.
