Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium hopped smell, close to a lager style beer.
Initial Taste: Minimum bite, smooth lager beer-style taste with semi-sour but sweet cooking apples. Some sweet pear notes and hints of lemon
After Taste: More tangy. Semi-dry with a longer beer-style aftertaste from the hops.  Contains some tangy and musty fleshy apples with a herbal finish.
On ice: Carbonation and flavour is cut dramatically. Much more smooth and more beer like.

Additional Notes: While this cider is not a lager beer, it sure smells and mildly tastes like it.  Cid’s Houblonné Cider has a very unique taste that combines many elements of a Quebec-style cider with a traditional lager.  You could easily fool a friend into thinking it was a unique and odd beer.
